          1.  William Kilpatrick birth date unknown.   He married Margaret Strathern Glasgow, 22 July 1775.  Margaret was born Glasgow.  

          William Kilpatrick and Margaret Strathern had the following children:  

                 2     i.     Isobel Kilpatrick was born in Barony, Lanark 1778.  She was christened in Barony, Lanark, 30 April 1778.

                 3     ii.     Elizabeth Kilpatrick was born in Stevenston, Ayr 1780.  She was christened in Stevenston, Ayr, 17 September 1780.

                 4     iii.     Alexander Kilpatrick was born in Kilwinning, Ayr 26 May 1786.  He was christened in Kilwinning, Ayr, 28 May 1786.

    +          5     iv.     William Kilpatrick was born 23 February 1789.

                 6     v.     Lillias Kilpatrick was born in Kilwinning, Ayr 16 April 1793.  She was christened in Kilwinning, Ayr, 21 April 1793.

                 7     vi.     Isobel Kilpatrick was born in Kilwinning, Ayr 16 April 1793.  She was christened in Kilwinning, Ayr, 21 April 1793.

                 8     vii.     Elizabeth Kilpatrick was born in Stevenston, Ayr 5 October 1796.  She was christened in Stevenston, Ayr, 16 October 1796.

                 9     viii.     James Kilpatrick was born in Stevenston, Ayr 11 February 1799.  He was christened in Stevenston, Ayr, 17 February 1799.

               10     ix.     Marion Kilpatrick was born in Stevenston, Ayr 30 December 1802.  

 Second Generation  

          5.  William Kilpatrick   was born in Stevenston, Ayr 23 February 1789.  William died About 1852.   He married Cecile Jeffray in Stevenston, Ayr, 15 April 1813.  Cecile was born in Stevenston, Ayr 22 February 1794.  Cecile was the daughter of Robert Jamphra and Ann Lochrigg .  Cecile died 30 March 1865 at 71 years of age.   He was christened in Stevenston, Ayr, 1 March 1789.  William Kilpatrick was described on the birth record of his son, William, as a Coal hr (ie. a coal hewer, someone who digs out coal).  

          William Kilpatrick and Cecile Jeffray had the following children:  

               11     i.     Ann Kilpatrick was born in Stevenston, Ayr 6 October 1813.  Ann died 26 November 1891 in Stevenston, Ayr, at 78 years of age.  She married Alexander Thomson .   She was christened in Stevenston, Ayr, 17 October 1813.

               12     ii.     William Kilpatrick was born in Stevenston, Ayr 3 May 1815.  William died 21 September 1863 at 48 years of age.  He married twice.  He married Mary Wyllie in Stevenston, Ayr, 25 January 1840.  Mary was born 1816.  Mary died 1857 at 41 years of age.  He married Margaret Frazer in Saltcoats, Ardrossan, Ayr, 12 March 1860.   He was christened in Stevenston, Ayr, 7 May 1815.

    +        13     iii.     Alexander Kilpatrick was born 7 February 1817.

               14     iv.     James Kilpatrick was born in Stevenston, Ayr 7 March 1819.  James died About 1866.  He married Agnes Glen in Dalry, Ayr, 19 July 1850.  Agnes was born About 1826.  Agnes died 1908 at 82 years of age.   He was christened in Stevenston, Ayr, 14 March 1819.

               16     vi.     Margaret Kilpatrick was born in Stevenston, Ayr 8 December 1822.  Margaret died Before 1827.  She was christened in Stevenston, Ayr, 15 December 1822.

               17     vii.     Margaret Kilpatrick was born in Stevenston, Ayr 16 March 1827.  Margaret died 23 January 1896 in Stevenston, Ayr, at 68 years of age.  She married George Smith in Stevenston, Ayr, 26 December 1845.  George was born 1825.  George died 1876 at 51 years of age.   She was christened in Stevenston, Ayr, 18 March 1827.

               18     viii.     Robert Kilpatrick was born in Stevenston, Ayr 6 July 1829.  He was christened in Stevenston, Ayr, 12 July 1829.

               19     ix.     John Kilpatrick was born in Stevenston, Ayr 30 November 1830.  John died 6 February 1874 in Stevenston, Ayr, at 43 years of age.  He married Margaret Russell Smith in Stevenston, Ayr, 15 July 1853.  Margaret was born 1829.  Margaret died 1905 at 76 years of age.   He was christened in Stevenston, Ayr, 5 December 1830.

               20     x.     George Kilpatrick was born in Stevenston, Ayr 20 February 1833.  George died 9 April 1891 in Stevenston, Ayr, at 58 years of age.  He married twice.  He married Cecilia Kelso in Stevenston, Ayr, 27 August 1852.  Cecilia was born 1832.  Cecilia died 1868 at 36 years of age.  He married Catherine Galt or Jeffrey in Stevenston, Ayr, 24 March 1876.  Catherine was born About 1839.  Catherine died 1922 at 83 years of age.   He was christened in Stevenston, Ayr, 24 February 1833.

               21     xi.     Cicilia Kilpatrick was born in Stevenston, Ayr 22 July 1835.  She was christened in Stevenston, Ayr, 30 July 1835.

 Third Generation  

          13.  Alexander Kilpatrick  was born in Stevenston, Ayr 7 February 1817.  Alexander died 25 May 1869 in Mossend, Kilbirnie, Ayr, at 52 years of age.   He married Margaret McDonald Ross in Stevenston, Ayr, 14 January 1843.  Margaret was born in Stevenston, Ayr 20 November 1820.  Margaret was the daughter of Findlay Ross and Janet Banks .  Margaret died 24 March 1896 in Courthill St., Dalry, Ayr, at 75 years of age.   He was christened in Stevenston, Ayr, 9 February 1817.  Alexander was a collier.  

          Alexander Kilpatrick and Margaret McDonald Ross had the following children:  

    +        23     i.     Finlay Kilpatrick was born 1844.

               24     ii.     William Kilpatrick was born in Dalry, Ayr 26 February 1856.  William died 1856 at less than one year of age.

               25     iii.     Alexander Kilpatrick was born in Dalry, Ayr 4 February 1857.  Alexander died 12 April 1857 in Dalry, Ayr, at less than one year of age.

               26     iv.     Margaret Kilpatrick was born in Dalry, Ayr 13 May 1860.  Margaret died 1861 at 1 year of age.

               27     v.     Thomas Kilpatrick was born in Dalry, Ayr 30 April 1862.  Thomas died 1863 at 1 year of age.   

          15.  Mary Kelso Kilpatrick   was born in Stevenston, Ayr 26 January 1821.  Mary died 1895 in Muirkirk, at 74 years of age.   She married John Shaw in Stevenston, Ayr, 23 November 1839.  John was born About 1813.  John died 1893 at 80 years of age.   She was christened in Stevenston, Ayr, 28 January 1821.  

          Mary Kelso Kilpatrick and John Shaw had the following child:  

               28     i.     Mary Shaw was born in Kilwinning, Ayr 1856.  Mary died 1899 in Paisley, at 43 years of age.  She married Andrew Reid in Muirkirk, 1878.   

          22.  Thomas Kilpatrick   was born in Stevenston, Ayr 23 March 1838.  Thomas died 11 June 1864 in Stevenston, Ayr, at 26 years of age.            He married Janet Templeton in Stevenston, Ayr, 7 June 1861.  Janet was born in Stevenston, Ayr 1838.  Janet was the daughter of John Templeton and Janet White .  She married Finlay Kilpatrick in Station sq., Stevenston, Ayr, 17 July 1868.  Janet died 21 September 1912 in Pollockshaws, Eastwood, Renfrew, at 74 years of age.  Janet was a widow when she married Findlay Kilpatrick.  

          Thomas Kilpatrick and Janet Templeton had the following children:  

               29     i.     Harriot Neill  Kilpatrick was born in Stevenston, Ayr 9 April 1862.  Harriot
